Hi, there! My name is Victor Bezerra and I was chosen by a tough mission back in 2003, when I was only 10 years old: to save the Ocean
After recovering from a brain cancer in 1999, at age 10, I found peace while snorkeling for the first time. That feeling of weightlessness, zero gravity, not having to worry about falling or crashing into anything gave me the FREEDOM I had been looking for five years, when I was protected by a cozy loving cage between each MRI.
“The Ocean doesn’t judge”
The Ocean not only showed me a world where I could be free, but taught me a lot about my own capacities. In the water, I found my essence.
Now I have a plan. I want to show this amazing ecosystem to people, trying to raise awareness for an unsighted world, treated as a huge trash can for centuries.
Through photography and communication we can tell stories and reach people in a way we have never imagined. Gathering forces, images and experiences we can share our Ocean in a way people can care about her.
